Nature has always been a haven of peace and comfort for me, the designer and host of the Treebox experiences. As a little girl growing up in a large family of nine children, in a small house, the forest backyard was my retreat. Many hours were spent roaming about the woods, creating little hideaways, roping off areas between trees, carpets of pine branches, benches of moss covered logs. Paths meandering through the trees, never fully revealing what lies beyond the next curve, pulled me into the next beautiful, unexpected opportunity to experience the feast of the senses. When I needed some solitude and comfort, the forest is where I would go. My soul relaxes, my body breathes deep, and all is well as I pause to worship my Creator in the splendor of his creation. The earth sings the song of peace if we only stop to listen, pause to receive, and open our eyes and see.
